Through our LemonAID project, we’ve salvaged countless historic architectural items from homes slated for demolition on the East End, keeping priceless historic home fixtures and furnishings out of landfills.
Our Façade and Sign Grant programs have awarded $20,000 to businesses in our district and have spurred more than $250,000 of private investment just in façade and sign renovations and changes. These improvements continue to bring a fresh, stylish look to the commercial corridor.

Through a partnership with the University of Charleston Interior Design department and Contemporary Galleries, EEMS provides free interior design consultation services to East End businesses.
