East End Wireless

Launched in 2008, East End Wireless provides free, unsecured WiFi internet access to businesses along the Washington Street and Smith Street business corridors. To access the network, look for “East End Wireless” in your available connections. There is no password, and the network is unsecured, so users are encouraged to be mindful of what information they transmit. The project is designed so that East End businesses can offer wireless internet connections to their customers without having to pay for the service themselves.
