Home of the West Virginia Power, Appalachian Power Park anchors the East End Warehouse District

Appalachian Power Park

Opened in 2005, this 6,200-seat stadium is home to the West Virginia Power, a Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates and member of the South Atlantic League. The Park also serves the baseball programs of West Virginia University, Marshall University, and the University of Charleston, and hosts the West Virginia state high school championships, concerts, boxing and wrestling matches, televised coverage of college football games, and other events throughout the year. The Park was named among the ten best minor league ball parks in the nation and 58th best athletic venue in the world by Stadium Journey Magazine.

Come catch a game and enjoy the view from the Budweiser Party Deck or luxury boxes, grab dinner from Paterno’s at the Park, and enjoy the antics of Billy Bob and the Rowdys from their third baseline “Rowdy Alley” and the “Toast Man” Rod Blackstone. Bring the kids and let them loose in the H&H Enterprises Fun Zone, and be sure to watch out for a high-five from Chuck, the much-loved mascot. Check the schedule on the Power’s website for game times, promotions, and special events. Located between Smith and Lewis, Morris and Brooks Streets.
