Moses Before the Burning Bush

Located at Temple B’Nai Israel, 2312 Kanawha Blvd., East, corner of Chesapeake Ave.

This bronze relief depicts the Biblical story of Moses and the burning bush. The Hebrew text is from Exodus 3:14 and is God’s response when Moses asks the name of who is speaking to him: “I am that I am” is the most common English translation.
